The Technical Working Group on Getting Electricity (TWGGE) focusses on elevating the ease of consumers in obtaining electricity connections to their premises in terms of reductions in the number of procedures and days taken and the cost incurred to install an electricity connection.

TWGGE has widened its collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to cover the quality and reliability of electrical power supply.

Improvement Projects

  • New SOP Document Developed by TNB and Intel Malaysia for Power Quality Assessment Initiative

    To improve the quality and stability of the country's power supply as it is an important requirement to attract high-tech manufacturing facilities.

  • Power quality initiatives undertaken by TNB and Intel Malaysia to mitigate the voltage sag issue

    TNB and Intel conducted a study to improve power quality performance in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia which focussed on key improvements to the power grid and the distribution infrastructure.
